Careers in Public Health Talk with Nick McKenzie May 25th

Please mark your diaries for a careers talk  with Nick McKenzie, the Membership Officer at the UK Faculty of Public Health Wednesday 25th May at 4-5pm in room K2.31 Strand Campus.

The FPH work to promote understanding of public health issues and to drive improvements in public health policy and practice.

As the leading professional body for public health specialists and practitioners in the UK, their members are trained to the highest possible standards of public health competence and practice, as set by FPH. With over 3,300 members, in the UK and internationally, they work to develop knowledge and understanding, and to promote excellence in the field of public health. For more than 40 years, the FPH have been at the forefront of developing and expanding the public health workforce and profession.

Nick is going to talk about what it is like to work in public health in the UK and around the globe and the options you have to become a specialist in public health.

SSHM Senior Career Consultant Fiona Richardson will be chairing the session and SSHM Undergraduate Officer  Alysia Montrose will be attending to help with any queries.
