This will be an interactive, hands on workshop on how to develop a professional academic profile for face to face exchanges and online. You will compose, practice and receive feedback on a 1 minute elevator speech. You will learn the basics of shared online communities, the advantages of having an academic profile online and how to get started.

10:30 – 12:30 Presentation and interactive workshop on developing a professional profile including: Creating a 1 minute elevator speech, and an online profile with LinkedIn, Research Gate, Twitter and Blogging
12:30 – 13:30 LUNCH (provided)
The workshop is targeted at SSHM postgraduate research and taught students.
