I’m Shayda, I’m 24 and I’m currently working on my part-time master’s in Bioethics & Society (in case you’re about to Google “bioethics” because you’ve never heard of the term before – don’t panic! We spent one of our first lectures trying to come up with a definition, so you’re not alone. That being said, you probably should Google it anyway, guaranteed you’ll find something interesting).

So what do I make of my first year? I can easily say that I’m looking forward to another one – I’m genuinely loving this ride! Although I regret not graduating with my friends who are studying full-time, I’m really happy with my decision of breaking up my degree into two years.
