We are delighted to announce a conference organised by the students on the MSc Medicine, Science and Society on ‘Connecting medicine, science and society’.
When: Friday 27th March, 13:30-17:30,
Where: Old Committee Room (1st Floor King’s Building)
The conference will start with a talk by Zeina Amro, one of SSHM’s new PhD students on “Health, Well-Being and Representations: The Case of Palestinian Refugees from Syria” which will be followed by work-in-progress talks from the students on topics including Ebola, media representations of the human genome project, the neurodiversity movement, health literacy, Golden Rice, and biomarkers in psychiatry.
